We would love to have Y’all up to the ranch! Come see for yourself the sanctuary at Pretty Horses Rescue. Reservations are required for our ride packages and farm tours. Please contact us +1 (619) 964-9604 to schedule your visit.
Ranch visiting hours are 8am - 4pm daily. We can schedule a ride or package outside of these hours with 48 hour advance notice. Please contact us to set up your perfect experience. We operate by reservation only so call us at +1 (619) 964-9604 or email us at prettyhorsesrides@gmail.com to request a riding package or service.
(Please understand, riding a horse is a potentially dangerous sport. You enter the ranch taking full personal responsibility for anything that happens and will be required to sign a liability waiver)

1 hour trail ride ($45 per person)
2 hour trail ride geared towards comfortable riders with experience ($65 per person)
Dinner Sunset Ride
Dinner sunset ride ($90)

Includes hour ride
local wines and appetizers. Not a wine person? We are happy to make a pitcher of fresh margaritas or Local Craft Beers.
wine tasting at the tasting room
Black Cross Wines, owned by the lovely Robin Mackenzie, has an on site tasting room that will open for groups by reservation. You don’t have to drive to the valley for wonderful wines. You can message her on Facebook to inquire about date options for your groups wine tasting.
hacienda overnight ride
The Hacienda Overnight Ride ($225 per person)
requires 7 day advance notice.
Includes a 3 hour ride through the hills to a beautiful hacienda tucked into the valley of El Gato where you enjoy dinner and a bonfire. Each room has its own bathroom and charm. Wake up to breakfast and then 2 hour ride back to the PHR ranch.
Riding lessons & horse care classes
Riding lessons are $50/hour
Horse care classes are $35/hour
Buck-a-roo training for kids
The buck-a-roo training for kids ($45)
1 hour and includes both horse care and a riding lesson.
Ranch visits & picnics
Donation of $5 per person
Tour the ranch and meet our crew. Families and groups can schedule a time to come to the ranch to visit the animals
